Why are you Bloated?

Take the Quiz!

Quick + Easy Gut-Friendly Dinner

When you experience digestive problems, you might also feel brain fog, and like everything is just sitting in your stomach. Not to mention, when your body is working overtime to digest, you end up feeling flat-out exhausted.

When your body feels depleted, the last thing you need is a gut health diet or fad! This can lead to a further lack of focus, and feeling hopeless to find relief. What you need is sustainability, diversity, and energy!

Say goodbye to the Miralax, Linzess, Motegrity, low FODMAP, Whole 30, you name it… Today we are aiming for the long run, not a quick fix. So let’s chat about your diet. If you think that it needs to be hyper-restrictive to heal, I have some good news!

Eating for your gut can be nourishing, delicious, and include variety! Oh, and it doesn’t have to be as complicated as you think (especially when you are busy and juggling all the things).

This Gut Health Sheet Pan meal is on repeat at least weekly in our house and we love it because there’s also always plenty of leftovers. You can switch up the flavor by adding different toppings, spices, and sauces.

Here’s what you need

  • 1-2 sweet potatoes
  • 1-2 bell peppers
  • 1 container of mushrooms
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bunch of asparagus
  • Or you can use any veggies you have on hand!

Chop veggies into similar sizes and drizzle with avocado oil, salt, paprika (or Tajin!) and roast for 25 minutes at 425.

Top with your preferred protein source, a fat source, and some fun flavor

Simple easy meals like this are key to your healing journey. You don’t need to overcomplicate food or spend hours in the kitchen!

And remember, each of us is very different genetically, environmentally, and socially, and we all live very different lifestyles! So all of these factors impact your gut and can have a positive and negative impact on your gut health.

There are so many things to take into consideration when it comes to tackling your digestive issues, like…

  • Your Unique Root Causes
  • Your Stress Levels and Sleep Habits
  • Activity Level
  • Your Environment (work, home, relationships, etc)
  • Food Accessibility

When you take these things into consideration it becomes clear why there can’t be a one size fits all formula for gut health. Nutrition certainly is important for gut health, but only when all of the other factors are addressed.

So as you indulge in this recipe, know that this is a step in the right direction. And being open to learning new ways to heal for your unique digestive needs is a healing mindset.

So, if someone tries to sell you a standardized plan…run!  And instead join gutTogether, my 6-month program for women who want to finally find relief from their digestive symptoms and get their vibrancy back. Click here to read more!
